Ganbare Goemon English Patch

Description: Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shougun Magginesu (J+English Patched) is a Action/Platformer 2D video game published by Konami released on December 22, 1993 for the SNES. Finally after about two years of work, I have a complete patch for Ganbare Goemon 2. Update: I have released an updated patch that fixes a few cosmetic issues by using squishy tiles.

Someone has finally English fan translated Ganbare Goemon 2 and 3 for Super Famicom, and GG 4 is almost done and ready for it's patch to be released. The Ebisumaru puzzle game is also patched, but will be released with GG4 when that one is done. Feels nice to finally be able to understand what is going on in the games, especially for GG 3, which is text heavy (though 3 has a slur in it that caused the translator some grief from fans, but there's another patch that translates that for those too weak of heart to see a certain word in the game). Took years, but it is was something long overdue, but quite the task due to the compression used for the text.Ganbare Goemon 1 SFC was also supposed to be retranslated (there exists a patch that corrects the players names), but due to the GG 3 backlash over one word, it may never happen, the guy has said he no longer has the will to translate anything.
