I am specifically experiencing an issue with a wireless XInput device and a DirectInput both being recognized by the game as first player.

This happens no matter the order in which they are connected. I have also attempted resetting both devices while in game which worked for a fraction of a second. I have tried restarting the game, restarting Steam all while trying to disconnect and reconnect the devices. I thehn plugged in a 3rd fightstick (a ps1 stick with a usb adapter), and amazingly with 3 controllers plugged in the first two worked fine.Hopefully any 3rd controller does the trick? Hope this helps.that is correct for the most part, to make it more efficient though you can go into the game's options, then in options go into system and enable 'controller select', if you have 2 controllers acting as player one (as most appear to have here) and have a Direct Input/XInput switch on your gamepad then switch one of those gamepads to the other mode and it will be recognized as a new (aka 3rd) controller, that will bypass the issue without the need for owning a physical 3rd controller.
